Lakeside Fish Farm was established in 2011 as Rwanda's premier supplier of fresh fish.

Our first ponds were stocked in December and we now have 24 ponds and 7 cages with fish at various stages of growth.

We hatch eggs on site from our own broodstock. We smoke fillets in our own smokehouse

We are growing African catfish, and tilapia (both red and original grey)

Lakeside fish are the freshest, most consistently available fish in Rwanda because they are taken from ponds and directly placed on ice. Having our own purpose built fish packing plant allows us to follow a strict hygiene code to guarantee that Lakeside fish are always clean, fresh tasting and of uniform appearance.

We take care of our cold chain and never sell fish that have past their best. Discerning restaurants can be confident when serving Lakeside fish. 

Lakeside Fish Distribution Centre

Lakeside fish are distributed from this facility in the Minagri area of the Kigali Free Trade Zone. Our guaranteed fresh and cooked products can be purchased here. We also deliver to Kigali restaurants and resellers.
