RDB bird sampling at Lakeside

Bugesera is sparsely populated and features numerous swamps and lakes - perfect habitat for a wide variety of birds. Fish eating birds make them self at home around the broodstock and fingerling ponds.
Recently, RDB used Lakeside Fish Farm for a 7-day training ground for bird expert tour guides. Hundreds of species were seen, including one that had never been recorded in Rwanda before. The birds in this slideshow have all been seen at Lakeside Fish Farm |
