Aquaculture training materials are very often written by researchers and academics who bring the student a great deal of technical insight. I struggled for too many years trying to make my living from producing and selling fingerlings. I look back now and realize that it was my sloppy approach to business rather than technical ignorance that was keeping financial success just beyond my grasp. I hung in there for the long haul and eventually metamorphosed into an aquaculture professional.

I offer these online courses in the expectation that you will find some tips, both technical and procedural that will advance your career or business.

Lakeside Aquaculture School offers a three week residential aquaculture training course. Students gain hands-on experience by doing every practical job on the fish farm. Every day features one or more classroom sessions and there is a final exam at the end.
