We have set aside a big barnyard where baby animals run around and wait for visitors to come and show them some attention. Our ducks, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, turkeys, rabbits, goats, pigs, lambs and chickens have been hand raised to be tame and gentle. Its clean and safe, with plenty of shade and places to sit,  There are many benefits to your child  when you take them to a petting farm for the first time. Often children who live in cities have never been close up to live animals. They will discover that animals have a different texture to their hair and skin and the different sounds that they make. To a small child who has never seen these creatures before this is fun, new and exciting all at the same time.
